My Sabah Trip - SEPT 2008

Just got back from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for a 4days trip. Everything is great with 12person of us in the trip. Maybe there is some argument, disagreement, or misunderstanding but hopefully others did enjoy this trip and we can soon have a next trip among all of us, including those who missed this round.

I think 4days wasn't really that enoough. We just manage to rush on island hopping, National Park, Hotspring, town walk and some go for water rafting. Some are dissappointed to the island hopping at Manukan Island where snorkelling was not that fun as not much fishes. Maybe we go to the wrong side of the beach where we found not much people there or maybe we should go Pulau Sapi were they said there was more beautiful.

Before we go for National Park, we walk around Gaya Street Sunday Morning Market. At there, we can grab some sourvenior and the original Sabah honey. I bought myself one bottle of honey where it was in white colour. Looks good and people recommend us to get the honey at Sabah. We manage to grab our breakfast there too before we start our journey to National Park and Hot Spring.

We stopped along the way to the National Park to take some photos and some of them manage to grab some sourvenior. It took us more than 2hours to reach the National Park and Hotspring. We manage to walk along the Canopy Walk nearby the Hotspring before the rain start. Luckily the Hotspring is under the shuttle where we can start playing around under the rain. It was a nice exprience and we girls were playing around there. Later than we went to Gaya Sport Seafood Restaurant to have our dinner. Sabahan said this was the most cheaper and tastiest seafood restaurant where we shall go for a try. We 12person eaten crabs, prawn, sabah siput, sabah vege, and a taufu for around RM20 per person. However, my friend said Kepong seafood even taste nicer than this restaurant. We shall set a date to go Kepong for the seafood. Yeah ~~

Having some walk in the town and along the waterfront is quite relax. Can walk around the Handicraft Market and their Pasar Ikan Masin to grab some local stuff. At there, what we need to do is bargain and bargain. Haha .. but don't go too far lor. People need to earn also geh. Most important part at there is sit down at the coconut stall and get a coconut drink. Along there will have a row of stall selling coconut. After a long walk, is great to get some rest and charge yourself with a coconut drink.

** really miss the trip and hope to travel more in coming days **
